Eight First-Time Pennsylvania Bracelet Winners Crowned by WSOP

From June 5 to July 17, the 2022 WSOP PA Online Bracelet series included eight events spread across seven weekends. They were all first-time WSOP bracelet winners, and they were all Pennsylvanians, making it one of the most exciting Pennsylvania gambling news.

Players from eight different states attended final tables throughout the tournament series, even though internet poker in Pennsylvania is only available within neighboring states.

The total prize pools for the eight events came to $750,910. Due to a combination of higher buy-in events and many Pennsylvanians traveling to Las Vegas at that time for the 2022 WSOP Main Event, the second part of the series was somewhat smaller than the first.

Wexler Comes in Second

Wexler won Event #5: $500 Deepstack on July 3 against a field of 171 competitors to remove the bracelet monkey from his back after amassing over 50 career WSOP cashes (plus an additional 36 circuit cashes) going back to 2006. Additionally, he received $19,615 for his efforts.

After a week, Wexler came in second place out of 122 competitors in Event #6: $1,000 Online Bracelet Championship, earning another $19,314 for himself.

Schwibbs Wins Again

In the heads-up match in the Online Championship event, Alex Schwint prevailed over Wexler, earning a career-high $27,055 in addition to the gold bracelet and a place in the $1 million freeroll that awaits all winners of WSOP bracelets and circuit rings during the recently concluded 2022 WSOP season in Las Vegas.
