BetMGM’s Poker State Championship to Be Held in Pennsylvania

In September, BetMGM plans to start a new online poker series featuring tournament action accessible in three different states. The BetMGM Poker State Championships will take place in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and New Jersey from September 15 to 25. Each state has its own prize pool up for grabs in the tournament, which is available to participants there. The new Poker State Championships will take place in three states where playing online poker is legal. Every state will have a $1,000 Championship event, albeit the amount of the prizes may vary. Pennsylvania will have the lowest prize pool, with just $150,000 up for grabs.

In order to compete in the Poker State Championships, players must be residing in Pennsylvania or the other two states. On September 15, the NLHE Kickoff with a $500 buy-in will start off the series. The NLHE 8-Max Phase 1 will also commence on the same day, with a buy-in of $100.
